Emergency - In a crash, built-in sensors can automatically alert an OnStar Advisor who is immediately connected into your vehicle to see if you need help - even if you can't say a word.

Navigation - Getting directions is as easy as pushing a button and telling the Advisor where you want to go.  The directions are downloaded to your car, and a voice calls out every turn.

Security - Stranded?  Push the blue button, and an Advisor directs a service provider to your location.  If you're locked out, the Advisor will send a remote signal to unlock your doors.

Dealer maintenance notification - Once you opt in, your monthly vehicle diagnostics report will also be sent to a participating dealer, who will contact you when it's time for an oil change or when certain mileage-based maintenance milestones occur.
